Hello, my name is Charlotte - I am 17 years old, currently in my second year of college studying IT, textiles and graphic design at Brighton, Hove and Sussex Sixth Form College (BHASVIC). I am a student ambassador at MyPocketSkill.

My role includes tasks such as helping to run focus groups, create promotions for the social media pages and generally to spread the word about MyPocketSkill. What I like about this role is the variety of tasks we are asked to do each week, there is always something new and exciting happening for us to take part in. I have learnt many new things whilst being a part of the MyPocketSkill team such as different ways to promote a business, how a business can stay efficient and how they can work around obstacles that you may come across, especially in a time like now with the Coronavirus lockdown.

During the lockdown, MyPocketSkill has helped many struggling families by helping to find them capable teenagers to do online tasks for them such as keeping children entertained or to help tutor their children. They have also helped teenagers who may currently be bored or want to earn some extra pocket money by helping them find families who need help doing online tasks.
